With our superglue VA 1401, we can not only bond, but also use the packaging as a small tool for modeling. More specifically, the closure. Due to its corrugation, it is perfect to produce a miniature corrugated iron roof. All you need is a strip of standard aluminum foil and two of our new CA closures (the adhesive should be empty, of course).
How it works:
Cut the aluminum foil into small pieces, approx. 2 cm long and 1 cm wide. Roll a piece of the foil around the corrugated surface of one closure. With the second closure you now roll over the foil and thus provides for the corrugated iron roof optics.
For a complete roof repeat the process with several strips and then bond it with our VA 1401 adhesive on a piece of cardboard. To do this, apply the adhesive to the “iron” or the cardboard and join the two parts. This is best done with tweezers. With the new screw cap of our own development and the fine dosing tip, the adhesive can be applied precisely and without smearing.
After bonding, wait approximately ten minutes until the adhesive has fully cured.
Afterwards, the edges can be cut off and the roof painted with brown water color to make it even more realistic.
