For strong adhesion
The new WEICON Mounting Tape is available in grey and transparent. The tapes are suitable for structural joints where parts shall be fixed permanently and double-sided.
Aluminium profile on the front, LED lights at the back
In my basement, I fixed an aluminium profile with the new WEICON Mounting Tape. First, I cleaned the profile with WEICON Surface Cleaner. Then I fixed it for bonding and mounted it with the transparent tape. For an extremely strong adhesion you can use a hard rubber roller. Then, I removed the red protective film and joined the profile and the shelf. Afterwards, I inserted the LED connection. Finally the indirect lighting was mounted with the tape.
Good temperature-, moisture- and UV-resistance
The Mounting Tape is moisture-resistant and therefore suitable for permanent joints both indoors and outdoors. It has a temperature resistance of -40°C to +90°C, is UV-resistant and can be used as a fixing aid for hybrid bonding, in combination with WEICON adhesives and sealants. For extreme loads, we recommend Mounting Tape Grey.
