A real eyecatcher
In summer, the facade of our new warehouse was embellished – with a giant WEICON Pen and a reference to our Adhesive Finder.
How our hallmark was born
Many innovations were created by WEICON. Our most famous hallmark is the WEICON Pen. But do you know its history? This very special packaging originated from a spontaneous idea from our General Manager. Ten years ago, he watched his young daughters drawing with window colors (very popular at this time). Later Ralph Weidling had his brainwave: “That’s what we need for our one-component adhesives. A packaging that makes the adhesives easy to dose and clean to work with.”
Since then, our patented Pen-System has been providing excellent service to a wide range of industrial sectors all over the world – as one of our numerous WEICONLOCK products or as cyanoacrylate in the range of Contact adhesives.
Getting the right adhesive with the WEICON adhesive finder
Next to the WEICON Pen there is a reference to our WEICON adhesive finder on the facade – another innovation from WEICON. The finder helps to get the right adhesive for an application, the individual material combination and the ambient temperature – there are lots of adhesives and an unlimited number of applications.

Amazing design thanks to “Lackaffen”
Either on many distribution boxes or facades or as part of the design of shops or meeting rooms in companies – the work of Lackaffen characterizes the cityscape of Muenster.
The company was founded in 2004 by the graduate engineer Philipp Scharbert. He started spray painting graffitis at the age of 14.
His goal was to found a company, which offers sophisticated facade designs professionally. At first, Scharbert could meet the demands by himself, but the quality of his work quickly made the rounds. The demand grew massively and so did the company. By now, several teams work for “Lackaffen“ and travel around Germany in order to realize customers‘ ideas.
The best view to our Pen facade you have in a distance of some hundred meters from a high frequented street in Muenster.
