Five DIY Tips
What can you do with adhesive spray? We have found five examples. In these videos, we show you how you can easily use adhesive spray for different materials and applications.
Tip 1: Indirect lighting for your living room
Have you always wanted to create wall art yourself with your favourite image and indirect lighting? To make your living room nice and cosy? Then go for it:
You need:
your favourite image: It can be a photo or, like in our example, a piece of wallpaper. Here’s what we didn’t know either up until now: In your local hardware store, you can get free wallpaper samples to try out at home.
a chipboard (which you can also get at a hardware store at a very reasonable price)
a can of adhesive spray (preferably one from WEICON, of course ;-))
rubber gloves (which you should always wear when working with adehsives)
scissors
utility knife
a hard rubber roller
Tip 2: Turn a simple wooden box into a wine box
Wooden boxes are perfect for the transport and storage of wine and champagne bottles. To prevent bottles from clinking and breaking, we recommend to line the box with felt.
You need:
a wooden box
a roll of felt
a can of WEICON Adhesive Spray
a can of WEICON Cleaner Spray S
rubber gloves
a permanent marker pen
a ruler
scissors

Tip 3: Make miniature trees for model making
Our colleague Mike is a big fan of model trains. He has spent countless hours in his hobby room. What does he do in there? For example creating model trees for his miniature landscapes. In the video, he shows you how you can do it yourself.
You need:
small branches of a tree or bush
a small box of artificial moss
a piece of styrofoam
a can of WEICON Adhesive Spray

Tip 4: Make your handlebar tape last
If you’re not a professional road cyclist, wrapping handlebar tape right can be fairly difficult. If the tape is not wrapped tightly enough, it will loosen – especially from the smooth aluminium handlebar – faster than it should. For making your old handlebar tape last and preventing it from loosening, you can use our adhesive spray. Important: Always clean the handlebar before using adhesives (whether adhesive spray or others)! The handlebar should be free from oil, soilings and adhesive residues.

Tip 5: Make a piece of furniture moveable
How can you move a heavy piece of furniture easily and effortlessly? It works best, if the bottom is lined with felt. We had the idea, when we needed a solution for our banner stand. We covered the stand’s wooden foot with felt using our Adhesive Spray. The banner stand advertising our spray cans can now be moved easily on even surfaces.
